The Vintage Petrol Pump Garage is a small, family business in North Yorkshire, specialising in the sale and purchase of Vintage, Pre-war and early Post-war motor cars and small commercial vehicles.

The Company originally specialised in the restoration of vintage petrol pumps – hence the name. However, with the ongoing success of their vintage and classic motor car sales, this is the area that they now concentrate upon.

The company has over 40 years experience in vintage motor cars. The old website, although not quite as long-lived ;-) was badly in need of modernisation. With regular updates – sometimes 3 or more cars a week going onto the site – the costs and inconvenience of coming to us to update the site with every new car , meant that a content management system (CMS) was the obvious answer.

With the help of bespoke tutorial videos, company director Sara Fulton quickly picked up the CMS and now updates the site herself on a regular basis, as and when required. This was one case where we did ourselves out of regular maintenance work! However, customer satisfaction and a sense of a job well done is it’s own reward.

The new site works well on mobile phones and tablets and has been enthusiastically received by The Vintage Petrol Pump customers. As Sara said not long after the new site was launched: “Just went into our old site to look at one of the gallery cars …. it already looks soooooo old fashioned!!
We’re loving the new site!”
