The long running and popular ‘Whitby Walks’ ghost walk was taken over by a new owner in 2017.
The existing website, which had served the previous owner well, was now looking very dated and did not work on mobile devices. It was also very difficult to update.
Media Vision designed a new ‘responsive’ website (meaning it displayed well on phones and tablets) with an easy to use content management system allowing the website diary to be easily updated.
The new website was also an opportunity to establish a new look and feel and brand for the walk.
The website has proved very popular, rising from approximately 400 visitors a day to a high of nearly 2000 visitors a day in the Summer of 2018.
